Text Box: The Light is On in the East Brethren, the month of August will be busy. The lodge will confer 2 EA degrees on August 17th and 2 MM degrees on august 31st. Both degree dates have dinner at 6:15 and the degrees starting at 7:00. PGM K.I. Wright will conduct his OV at Phoenix on august 24th. The Family night was a great success with a large turnout of members, including new master masons, wives, and guests. The charitable BBQ will be on Saturday, September 12th, and every Phoenix member is encouraged to purchase at least 2 tickets (check newsletter). All profits will go to the Shrine Children’s Hospitals. The Chaffin’s Barn outing will be on Saturday, October 10th. Reservations are $10 per person (widows are always free) and need to be made and paid for by September 14th. At the September Stated Meeting all Master Masons are encouraged to wear their original apron. See you in August! Richard Potts, WM
